It's been less than a year since this overlooked fantasy reboot from an Altered Carbon director hit theaters nationwide to a lukewarm reception. However, it now appears to be finding redemption as viewers can't seem to stop binging it. Often described as Gladiator meets Conan the Barbarian, the film is based on a popular comic book character—a fierce barbarian warrior renowned for her prowess in battle. After premiering in Russia on July 31, 2025, it received a limited theatrical debut in the US the following month via Samuel Goldwyn Films, followed shortly by its digital and physical rollout.
