Gerard Butler’s 45% Rotten Tomatoes Conspiracy Thriller Will Flee From Streaming Next Month

Gerard Butler has movies scattered across every streaming service, but one of them is due to depart its home soon. Butler stars alongside Dune: Prophecy veteran Travis Fimmel in Kandahar, the 2023 conspiracy thriller following a CIA operative and his translator who flee from special forces in Afghanistan after exposing a covert mission. Kandahar has been streaming on Hulu for months now, but the streamer has announced that it will depart the platform on May 31, which still leaves more than a month for Butler’s fans to check out the film. Kandahar finished its run in theaters after grossing only $9 million, and the film earned a 45% rating from critics but a solid 82% rating from general audiences on the aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes.
