Musician Geordie Greep has cancelled a series of upcoming North American tour dates following sexual misconduct allegations that surfaced during his performance in Vancouver earlier this week. Ticket-holders for scheduled shows in Boise, Salt Lake City, Boulder, and Denver received refund notifications via email from venues, confirming the cancellations.

The cancellations follow an October 8 appearance at The Pearl in Vancouver, where flyers containing allegations of sexual assault were distributed to fans outside the venue. The flyers prompted an immediate response from Greep during his set, which he performed solo. Greep told the audience he did not want to force his band members to perform under the circumstances.

Vancouver Performance and On-Stage Response

During the Vancouver show, Geordie Greep denied the sexual assault allegations directly from the stage. Addressing the crowd, he stated, “I would never rape a woman. I’m not a rapist.” He further characterized the incident behind the allegations as a “complete misunderstanding” that occurred during a house party, suggesting he had “gotten the wrong end of the stick” regarding an interaction.

Greep announced during the performance that the proceeds from the Vancouver set would be donated to a local organization that supports victims of sexual violence. While the musician attempted to proceed with the tour following the Vancouver date, the subsequent cancellations in Idaho, Utah, and Colorado indicate a halt in the current tour cycle.
