Genshin Impact 6th Anniversary Web Event and Theme Song Appear

HoYoVerse shared a Genshin Impact 6th Anniversary web event with Paimon and theme song now that the game turned six on September 28, 2026. The game first launched on the PS4, PC, and mobile devices back on September 28, 2020. While the new videos are fixtures on the official YouTube channel, the Anniversary Memories Album online event in web browsers will only be available until October 18, 2026. 

In the case of the new Genshin Impact song, it’s performed by Childe (Tartaglia) voice actor Griffin Burns in English. It is called “A Letter from the Wind.” That also features an original animation with Paimon, Venti, Furina, Ayaka, Barbara, and Nilou. The idea is that the six of them are putting on their own performance.

As for the Genshin Impact Anniversary Memories Album web event online, it gives people a chance to earn Primogems, Mora, and in-game enhancement items for taking part in some activities. The Anniversary Memories Album involves looking at it with Paimon to get five Hero’s Wit character XP items and 60 Primogems. The Theater of Memories section awards us five Mystic Enhancement Ores for weapon growth and 60 Primogems. If we get our Adventure Style, we get five Sanctifying Unctions for artifact XP and 40 Primogems. It is also possible to get an extra 20 Primogems for finding “hidden Easter eggs.” Finally, choosing to share from within the event page on social media gets you 20,000 Mora. In total, you can earn 180 Primogems, which is enough for a banner pull. 

There’s also a Genshin Impact 6th Anniversary Letter video online. That features a chibi version of Aether and Paimon moving past images and insights from the Luna series of version updates. For example, one of the tidbits HoYoVerse mentioned is, “4.8% of Travelers who bought investment coupons kept at it for nine whole weeks and eventually recovered the Mora they had been swindled out of!” The company also noted only 26% of people removed Columbina’s eye mask after “Welkin Moon’s Homecoming” and 12.7% of people eavesdropped on Klee as “Confinement Room Drama Enjoyer.”

Genshin Impact is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices. 7.1 is live now, adding Vesna and Vodyanitsa to the game. The Genshin Impact 6th Anniversary Memories Album will run until October 18, 2026.
