General Hospital’s Anna: Everything We Know About Who Kidnapped Her and Why

When Anna (Finola Hughes) was abducted in the November 5, 2025, episode of General Hospital, she disappeared for quite some time before finally being shown held captive in an undisclosed location on December 9. Though more comfortable now than in the dark room where she had first been cuffed to a chair, she remained a prisoner — and now the show is dropping even more intel about where she is being held and who is behind her kidnapping!

Missing In Action

When Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and Nathan (Ryan Paevey) both returned to Port Charles around the same time, Anna couldn’t shake the feeling that it couldn’t be a coincidence that two of Cesar Faison’s children had been resurrected from the “dead.” She became convinced that the supervillain who had spent so many years torturing her was somehow still alive, as well, despite having spent some quality time with his corpse in the morgue when he was shot dead back in 2018 — and she was equally convinced that all of Port Charles was in jeopardy. Jason (Steve Burton) suggested that Sidwell (Carlo Rota) was using Faison as a way to throw her off her game, and she seriously considered that possibility.

But as Anna got into her car, someone rose from the back seat to knock her out with chloroform, and she soon awoke to find herself handcuffed to a chair in a dark, empty room. A man’s voice with a European accent was then heard on a speaker informing Anna that she was on her way to a new life. She struggled to break free, but failed.

Escape Room

Although Jack (Chris McKenna) received a call from Anna letting him know that she had to leave on a secret WSB mission, and Emma (Braedyn Bruner) received messages from her grandmother, Anna was nowhere to be seen for almost a month. Finally, this week viewers saw her trapped in a room shouting to get her captor’s attention through a one-way mirror.

Paging through a notebook where she’d been jotting down names and ideas, trying to keep her theories straight. She recalled her abduction and waking up in the dark room before being blindfolded and drugged again. The next time Anna regained consciousness, she was traveling in what she felt was a truck or a bus, then remembered that they’d gone over water. She jotted that information in her notebook, realizing that without knowing how long she had been unconscious, she couldn’t figure out where she was.

Then a voice speaking French told her to stand facing the wall with her hands on her head so that she couldn’t see him. Pascal (Marc Forget) then entered the room to deliver a plate of macarons, telling her — still in French — that he hoped the treat would make her stay more enjoyable. Given that, earlier in the episode, Pascal attempted to deliver the same dessert to Sidwell during his meeting with the ladies of Deception at Wyndemere, it became clear to the audience that Anna was being held prisoner somewhere in the vast estate. That water she traveled over was nothing more than the Port Charles harbor! There is certainly some dramatic irony to her being held hostage at Wyndemere, where she once held Faison hostage.

But it does not appear that Anna is aware of where her own hostage crisis is taking place. How long will it take the shrewd superspy to piece everything together and realize who is holding her captive? And once she has all this information, will she be able to utilize it to formulate an escape? It also remains unclear how this all fits into Faison’s final project, the one Britt is being forced to toil on, and what Sidwell is hoping to gain from it, and ultimately, why it is of such great interest to the WSB.

So, while it’s clear that that there are still many more revelations to come in this storyline, Anna’s return suggests that fans might be getting closer to getting their questions answered!
