Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) list of enemies kept growing on the August 29 episode of General Hospital as Curtis (Donnell Turner) finally had enough, Trina (Tabyana Ali) learned the awful truth about Portia’s (Brook Kerr) blackmail, and Carly (Laura Wright) threatened the congressman. Meanwhile, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) got an eyeful; Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) shared her big decision with Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst); Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) and Rocco (Finn Carr) found a body at the waterfront, and more! Keep on reading to find out how it all went down.

Judge-ment Call

While picking up a coffee at Bobbie’s, Chase ran into Judge Heran and took the opportunity to put in a good word for Willow. After Eva shared some theoretical considerations that a judge would take into account in a case like Willow’s, Chase claimed he was confident his friend would have a just hearing because of the judge’s reputation for fairness. The moment Chase exited the restaurant, Judge Heran made a phone call, informing the other person that a detective was asking questions about the Corinthos case, and she wanted to make sure that her back was covered.

Fool’s Errand

At the hospital, Elizabeth was stunned when Willow shared that she was back with Drew because he was going to help her regain custody of her kids. Liz tried to talk sense into her friend, but it fell on deaf ears as Willow insisted she needed more than character references from colleagues and a spotless attendance record at her visitation hearing. Willow added that she had no other options, and wavered when Liz asked if she still loved Drew. “Yes. No. It doesn’t matter,” claimed Willow, because getting her children back would be enough.

With stars in her eyes, Willow chirped that Drew preventing her from speaking to Michael in Germany was an example of his far-reaching power and proof that he gets what he wants, but Elizabeth groused that the behavior was disgusting and nothing more than a bribe. She further warned Willow that she was selling her soul, but Willow professed that she no longer had blinders on and knew exactly what she was dealing with regarding Drew. “I will gladly trade my soul for my children; what mother wouldn’t?” she professed, shutting down the conversation by once more stating that Drew was her best option.

Later, Willow asked Chase to meet her at the hub, but before she could share her big decision, he excitedly told her that he’d run into Judge Heran at Bobbie’s and had great news for her.

Doctor Without Borders

Portia and Isaiah’s steamy kiss led to them making love on the couch in her office. Afterwards, Isaiah picked up the wedding photo of Portia and Curtis off the floor and handed it to the chief of staff, who promptly placed it on her desk with barely a glance. After each acknowledged that their tryst wasn’t planned, Portia picked up her wedding band from the floor, and Isaiah asked her if she had any regrets. In a somewhat awkward exchange, Portia reminded Dr. Gannon that she was his boss, and they shouldn’t have had sex in her office seconds before Trina walked in.

After Isaiah made an excuse to leave, Trina — upset about the tension at home between her parents and Aunt Stella’s arrest — demanded that her mother tell her what started the mess with Drew. At long last, Portia revealed that Drew was blackmailing them with proof that she’d altered Heather Webber’s blood tests to keep the serial killer in prison and away from Trina. With tears in her eyes, Portia further explained to her daughter how her secrets strained things between her and Curtis, and that by the time they’d decided to fight Drew together, their marriage was already on shaky ground. Mother and daughter shared a hug as Portia promised that no matter what, Trina’s parents would always love her.

Later, Isaiah returned to Portia’s office to check on her, and she revealed that she’d come clean with Trina. Grabbing her hand, he apologized if he’d contributed to making her day any harder. Portia replied that he hadn’t, and that her marriage had been broken beyond repair long before Isaiah had walked through her door. “All of this — my marriage, Trina, Stella, all of it — can be laid at the feet of Drew Cain,” she huffed.

Regrets, I Have A Few

As Curtis confronted Drew about siccing the authorities on Aunt Stella, Kai overheard the entire conversation from the hallway outside the congressman’s office and finally began to see his mentor in a different light (as in, the one everyone else had been warning him about). The clash between the men raged on, and Curtis ultimately stated that he’d see Drew dead before visiting Aunt Stella in jail. He then calmly walked out.

Entering Drew’s office, Kai observed that Curtis had seemed pretty upset. Drew passed it off as worry for Stella, promising to do everything in his power to help her. When Kai noted that Stella had done a lot for him while he was recovering from surgery, Drew declared that his hands were tied if Stella had committed insurance fraud. Changing the topic, Drew asked if Kai had tracked down Carly, and he reported that she was expected to be in her office at the Metro Court until the end of the day.

Drew suggested they call it a night, but Kai wanted to stay at the office to finish some research, earning him a compliment from the congressman for all his hard work. “Absolutely. You can always count on me,” Kai responded. Once alone, Kai made a call to the fraud division, checking on the status of the Stella Henry investigation. Receiving the feedback he was hoping for — or not hoping for — Kai replied that the congressman would be very pleased to know that they were following up on his request, and looked thoroughly exasperated upon hanging up the phone.

Later, a fired-up Trina arrived to see Drew. Telling her to save her breath, Kai informed her that Drew had Stella arrested just to hurt Curtis. “And how do you feel about that?” Trina questioned. “I feel like an idiot for not listening to you earlier,” Kai admitted, finally seeing Drew for the corrupt monster that he is and vowing to do anything he could to make things up to the Ashford family. “Good,” Trina replied. “Because I really need your help right now.”

No Mom-Sense

With their summer job as pool attendants completed, Danny and Rocco met with Carly, who invited the teens to return to the hotel next summer, even as lifeguards. Before the boys left, Carly asked Danny if he’d heard from Jason. Danny shared that his dad was on the way home, but it would be better if he stayed away because of the restraining order Drew placed on Scout’s family. Since Danny is a minor, he explained, the restraining order had to be served to his legal guardian, so as long as Jason was out of town, Danny could still see his sister.

Carly advised the teens not to give Drew any more ammunition. As if he were summoned, Drew then charged into Carly’s office. When Danny asked his uncle why Rocco had been given a restraining order, Drew smugly pronounced that he wasn’t taking any chances since the boys are usually together, adding that Danny was only Scout’s half brother and Rocco wasn’t related to her at all. Stepping in before things escalated further, Carly told Drew to back off and ushered Rocco and Danny out of her office.

Closing the office door behind them, Carly blasted Drew for taking Danny and Rocco away from Scout when she needed them more than ever since she was still grieving Sam’s death. A haughty Drew suggested Carly worry less about Danny and Rocco and more about Michael since an investigation proved that Judge Heran had taken a $1 million payoff the night before her ruling in Michael’s favor.

Refusing to bite, Carly kept her cool when Drew demanded that she convince Michael to take his offer and turn over custody to Willow. When Carly attempted to toss him out of her office, he gloated that he was responsible for Stella’s legal issues — and that was nothing in comparison to what he’d do to Michael if Carly didn’t play ball. Going full-on mama bear, Carly met Drew with a threat of her own: “You mess with Michael, you mess with my family, I will kill you myself,” she seethed.

As Drew cocked his head to the side in response to Carly’s statement, something across the room caught his eye, and he glanced up to find Elizabeth standing at the door. Liz pursed her lips, Drew had a smug satisfaction that he had a witness to Carly’s threat, and Carly grimaced at the thought of what Elizabeth may have overheard.

All Riled Up

In the interrogation room at the PCPD, Jordan waited with Stella for her arraignment. Stella shared that she was worried that if Drew kept pushing Curtis, her nephew was going to snap and do something that he’d regret, and she asked Jordan to talk Curtis down.

Following his altercation with Drew, Curtis arrived at the police station just in time for Stella and Jordan to get back from the arraignment: Alexis had successfully convinced the judge to release Stella on bail. With a nudge from Stella, Jordan approached Curtis, who interjected that he knew she was going to try to encourage him not to let the rivalry with Drew escalate any further. Jordan counseled Curtis not to allow Drew to compromise him any more than he already has, but Curtis proclaimed that it was already too late for that. Furious, he stormed out.

Bobbing Along

After leaving the Metro Court, Danny and Rocco headed to the docks to take a ride on Jason’s speedboat. Since Drew was at Carly’s office, Danny wanted to visit Scout, but Rocco convinced him that they needed to stay away. As Danny joked about egging Drew’s house later that night, Rocco noticed something in the water — it was Judge Heran’s seemingly lifeless body, floating face down!

Running Scared

Across the ocean at the Five Poppies, Britt woke up with a hangover and a half-empty pitcher of margarita on her nightstand, damning Jason’s name. Her headache worsened when Pascal called to chastise her for not yet being in the lab. Slamming down the phone, she started to leave her room, but picked up the burner phone Jason had given her at the last minute. “Get over yourself. It’s just a phone, not a token of his love,” Britt muttered as she stuffed the phone into a decorative box.

Arriving at the lab facility, Britt grew suspicious when she spotted Pascal and Tomas in a hushed conversation outside one of the other rooms. Pascal urged her to return to her research, but when Britt later noticed Tomas by himself standing guard in front of the other door, she made up an excuse to get him to abandon his post. Britt then used her keycard to enter the room and was shocked to find Josslyn and Vaughn tied up inside! But when Joss begged Britt to help them escape, Britt exited the room — and the lab facility.
