A welterweight matchup between Gabriel Bonfim and Randy Brown has been named the featured bout of an upcoming UFC Fight Night event in early November.

The UFC announced Sunday night the pair will meet Nov. 8 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. It will be the first UFC main event spot for both Bonfim and Brown.

Bonfim, 28, is 18-1 in mixed martial arts and coming off a split decision win over Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson in July. The Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt is 5-1 since debuting in the UFC in 2023 with three of his wins coming by submission.

Brown, 35, has won four of his past five and is riding the momentum of his knockout win over Nicolas Dalby in April. The six-foot-three American has been in the UFC for nearly a full decade with a 14-6 record. Two of Brown’s losses were against current welterweight champion Jack Della Maddalena and former champ Belal Muhammad.

Bonfim is the No. 14-ranked contender in the 170-pound division; Brown is unranked.

Other bouts already confirmed for the Nov. 8 card include Tecia Pennington vs. Denise Gomes at strawweight, Adrian Yanez vs. Cristian Quinonez at men’s bantamweight, and Mayra Bueno Silva vs. Jacqueline Cavalcanti at women’s bantamweight.
