It's been a long year since Apple TV officially renewed its best hard sci-fi series for a fourth season, but a premiere date has still not been announced. Foundation Season 4 was announced in September 2025 with Ian B. Goldberg and David Kob replacing David S. Goyer as showrunners, though Goyer remains involved as part of the executive production team. Filming began this January and was expected to conclude last month, but that has not yet been confirmed. In the meantime, while we await further details about the new season, the space franchise is making an epic return this month.
