Adam Klapka is sticking around in Calgary for another few years.

The Calgary Flames signed the six-foot-eight forward to a two-year, $2.5-milion contract extension on Tuesday, the team announced.

Klapka, 24, enjoyed the best season of his career with the Flames last season. He appeared in 31 games and recorded six goals and 10 assists.

He was especially good for Calgary over the final month of the season as the team was chasing the final wild-card spot in the Western Conference. Over the month of April, he averaged a career high 12:43 of ice time while leading the team with 32 hits.

The Flames signed Klapka as a free agent in May 2022.
