A feel-good sandbox survival game, Publisher Funcom and developer Astrolabe Interactive’s Aloft is celebrating Earth Day today with donations to the Cool Earth Initiative.
To celebrate Earth Day, along with 200,000 sales during Aloft’s Early Access period, Astrolabe will donate 5% of the net revenue earned during the Earth Appreciation Steam Festival to the Cool Earth Initiative.
The Cool Earth Initiative is on a mission is to support communities to protect rainforests and tackle climate change.
As part of today’s Earth Day festivities, content creators worldwide will livestream in partnership with Cool Earth to raise money to help the indigenous peoples with the knowledge, skills, and determination to protect the world’s most critical rainforests.
On that note, Astrolabe encourages all Aloft players to join in the celebration by watching, streaming, donating, and spreading the word.

Manuel Bergeron, Creative Director at Astrolabe Interactive, said the following:
“One of our goals in Aloft was to offer a chance for players to learn about the fragile balance of ecosystems and have a direct positive impact on their environment.
It’s our honor to contribute to the environment by giving to the Cool Earth Initiative.”
One can get Aloft, which is currently in Steam Early Access, for $24.99.
