On a cold, winter day, in rural America, It was supposed to be Sheriff Deb’s day off. But one of her deputies, Mikey, is knocking on her door early in the morning. The power is out. No one else has shown up to work and the town's residents are panicking. Neighbours, loved ones, their pets and entire livestock have vanished without a trace. The only animals to be seen are flocks of crows in the sky. And then there are reports of unnatural creatures being spotted lurking around the woods.
