There is, sadly, a shortage of Fallout games, something that simply shouldn't be the case considering the roaring success each entry proves to be both critically and commercially. However, with Bethesda juggling numerous franchises and electing to do all the work itself until recently, one can't be too surprised that the Fallout video game series has stagnated a little. Still, it's a great shame that the last single-player RPG release was over a decade ago, and its MMO successor was a disaster until only a year or so ago.
