Fae Farm Now Published by Gambit Digital

Back in August 2025, we learned Fae Farm online multiplayer support would end for the PC version and it would become a single-player only game. This was due to Forte Lab acquisition of Phoenix Labs and ensuing layoffs in 2025.  Now, Gambit Digital, Game Cloud Network, Phatty Acid, and Pure Wonder Interactive announced they acquired the console and PC game, with Gambit acting as publisher.

At the moment, Gambit Digital didn’t announce all the details about all the ways the acquisition will affect Fae Farm, but it did mention continuing live service and online elements. As a result of the Phoenix Labs shutdown announcement, the PC version went offline on September 10, 2025. As of time of writing, online co-op multiplayer doesn’t seem to be back yet. Also, while the Steam page is live for the PC version of Fae Farm, the Epic Games Store product page is still returning a 404 error.

Fae Farm is an optional multiplayer farming sim with light action elements for its dungeon portions. Players head to an island and run the farm there, also interacting with villagers and getting opportunities to gain wings, visit a fairy realm, and unlock access to new locations. There was an option to explore with a group of up to four people. The Switch version also allowed for a local wireless multiplayer option if enough people in the same space had consoles and copies of the game.

Fae Farm is available for the Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. Gambit Digital, Game Cloud Network, Phatty Acid, and Pure Wonder Interactive will share more details about the future of the game going forward.
