Ex-NUMC CEO Meg Ryan sues former employer, Hochul's handpicked appointees for retaliation

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul's purported "takeover" of the Long Island hospital, which led to Ryan's ouster, followed a December 2024 lawsuit to reclaim $1.06 billion the health care facility had been denied in federal Medicaid funding.
