Disney+'s hit Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels crossover series will officially return with new episodes in 2027. Since the creation of Disney+, Star Wars' animated shows have become more important than ever, with animated characters making the jump to live-action and their stories influencing major flagship shows (and movies), including The Mandalorian. The animated side of Star Wars isn't slowing down any time soon, either, with Lucasfilm recently launching its first-ever anime series, Star Wars: Visions Presents - The Ninth Jedi, and the confirmed renewal of Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord.
