Disney+ is now widely known as one of the biggest streaming services in the world that’s home to some of the most important franchises. One of the first that rings to mind is the MCU — fans of Marvel movies and TV shows must have a Disney+ subscription at this point to stay up to date on all the latest from the superhero series. Thanks to Disney’s acquisition of Star Wars back in 2012, Disney+ is also the primary streaming home for new Star Wars content, which has been focused mostly on TV in the last few years. Disney has also found a massive new franchise with Percy Jackson and the Olympians, the hit series starring Walker Scobell that’s inspired by Rick Riordan’s string of fantasy novels.
