Tom Rhys Harries marked the completion of filming on DC Studios’ upcoming Clayface. He shared a new behind-the-scenes photo on his Instagram Story.

The image, later reposted by DC Film News, shows Harries sitting beside a crew member outside a decorated trailer with the word “WRAP” written across the picture. Inside the trailer, balloons, drawings, and hand-written messages such as “Are you going 2 leave me?” and “Do you know what paradise is?” are visible on the walls.

The post follows earlier updates confirming that Clayface began filming in September. The film is directed by James Watkins (Speak No Evil). Mike Flanagan and Hossein Amini (Snow White and the Huntsman, Obi-Wan Kenobi) wrote the screenplay. DC Studios co-chair James Gunn described the project as “a complete horror film.” The movie stands apart from the studio’s hero-focused titles such as Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, Lanterns, and Man of Tomorrow.

Earlier behind-the-scenes images during production hinted at a darker aesthetic, aligning with reports that Clayface will focus on the villain’s psychological transformation. According to The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision newsletter, the film follows “a B-movie actor who injects himself with a substance to stay relevant, only to discover he can reshape his face and form, becoming a walking piece of clay.”

The graffiti and messages seen in Harries’ wrap photo continue the unsettling tone first teased in his earlier posts. Similar cryptic phrases had appeared before on the trailer’s walls and mirrors.
