While Darth Maul is finally getting his own animated series next year, Star Wars fans who just can't wait should absolutely read his iconic solo comic series. Having survived his first defeat at the hands of Obi-Wan Kenobi in The Phantom Menace, Maul returned as a major threat during the Clone Wars, eventually leading to the former Sith lord ruling his own crime syndicate during the reign of the Empire.
