CID 2: Janvi Chheda aka Inspector Shreya confirms her return to Shivaji Satam starrer, says ‘Picking up where…’

CID has a massive fan following. The TV serial began in 1998 and has a successful run till 2018. One can never get bored of the show. Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, Aditya Srivastava, Narendra Gupta and others entertained us with their performances. When the show went off-air, the audience was disappointed. People got emotional and requested the makers to bring back their favourite characters.

Hence, the love of the audience made the makers bring back CID. The second season began in 2024 and it is ruling hearts. The show has got all the love once again. In the recent episodes, we saw Shivaji Satam aka ACP Pradyuman's death shown. After this, Parth Samthaan entered as ACP Ayushmaan. His entry got mixed response from the audience. However, ACP Pradyuman is now back in the show with a twist.

Now, after Shivaji Satam, it was reported that Janvi Chheda aka Inspector Shreya will be back. Janvi has now confirmed the news. She shared a snap from her vanity van and wrote, "To new beginnings. Or rather, picking up where I left off Yeah, that's more poetic!" This is a big story in entertainment news and TV news.

This post made everyone think that she is back shooting for CID 2. We have all seen Shreya and Daya's emotional bond in the show. Daya loved her but she got engaged to someone else leaving Daya heartbroken. This was a big heartbreak for the audience as well. Now, Shreya is returning and we might get to see some emotional scenes with Daya.

We are super excited to see how will everyone in the show react to Shreya's return and especially Daya. When the reports of her return came out, everyone hoped that even Shraddha Musale aka Dr Tarika would return to the show. Tarika and Abhijeet's bond was also something everyone loved.
