In The Terminal List Season 2, Chris Pratt’s James Reece goes on a globe-trotting mission from Langley to Moscow, based on Jack Carr’s second novel, True Believer. What happens in The Terminal List Season 2 trailer?

The trailer starts with Pratt’s Reece living in isolation before being called back into action. Footage shows a new terrorist organization executing attacks in London. Desperate to hit back, the CIA enlists Luna’s Strain to join forces with Reece and find the mole. The two are shown in an exciting training montage before setting their sights on the enemies. The trailer also teases Reece having to go up against his former teammates while picking up his trusty sniper rifle.

“This season is a love letter to the special operations community,” Pratt said. “I’m incredibly proud of the journey we went on and what we were able to put on screen. It was a monumental effort by a lot of people over the course of many years, and I think you can feel that commitment in every frame. Yes, it’s an action thriller, but there’s also real beauty and poetry in it. At its heart, this season is dedicated to the men and women who do this work—the people who operate in the shadows, make extraordinary sacrifices, and rarely ask for recognition. We wanted to honor them and get it right. I couldn’t be more proud of what we made.”

Pratt will be joined by Tom Hopper, Constance Wu, Dar Salim, Luke Hemsworth, Gabriel Luna, Costa Ronin, Olga Kurylenko, Yul Vazquez, Martin Sensmeier, Arnold Vosloo, and Shiraz Tzarfati. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, MRC, and Civic Center Media. Besides Luna, Season 2 has also added Costa Ronin, Olga Kurylenko, Yul Vazquez, Martin Sensmeier, Arnold Vosloo, Jeremy Bobb, and Shiraz Tzarfati.

All eight episodes of The Terminal List Season 2 will be released on Prime Video on October 21, 2026.
