Charles M. Schulz has long had a documented love for the sport of ice hockey, as described in family stories and illustrated in numerous Peanuts comic strips over his 50-year run. Plenty of the gang has been depicted playing hockey across Peanuts history, with Snoopy and Woodstock each even driving a Zamboni to really enhance the vibe. Now, to commemorate this love both from the creator and his beloved characters, the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets team is having a Halloween-themed crossover of their brand with that of Peanuts. The event is titled Hockey Halloween: A Peanuts Spooktacular, and will feature at the team's Nationwide Arena on October 24, 2026.
