CELEBRITY Big Brother fans are convinced a big show rule has secretly been broken.

A key part of the reality series’ premise is for contestants to be kept in the dark from happenings in the real world during their time in the house.

Last night, Chris Hughes was heard talking about Katy Perry‘s space mission, which saw her take an 11-minute trip on Jeff BezosBlue Origin rocket, with an all-female crew.

The singer’s rocket ride took place while the contestants were already in the house, cut off from the outside world, which led some viewers to question why and how they were discussing it.

One person wrote on X: “How TF did chris know katy perry went to space?? Didnt she go up on April 14th and he went in the house 7th April.”

Another said: “Fraudulent slip there from Chris! How does he know Katy Perry went to space? He’s been in the house 3 weeks and she only went 2 weeks ago.”

However, others pointed out that the mission was well publicised for a considerable amount of time before they went into the house and they would have known it was due to happen.

One wrote on Reddit: “I can only imagine it’s been set up for some time and is something they were aware of prior to going in – but it did strike me as very odd when they mentioned it.”

Another said: “It was all over the news days before they went up, so understandable why he mentioned it.”

Perry, 39, was joined joined Gayle King, Lauren Sanchez, NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, film producer Kerianne Flynn, and activist Amanda Nguyen on the flight.

Footage of the Roar singer kissing the ground, holding a daisy to the sky and delivering an emotional speech about “love and belonging” quickly went viral upon their return to Earth.

According to a source, Perry regrets her “close-up camera moments” inside the New Shepard capsule, where she floated the daisy, sang What a Wonderful World, and promoted her upcoming Lifetimes tour.

The daisy was a tribute to her four-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, who appeared publicly for the first time at the launch.

But the insider claimed the “Roar” singer “regrets sharing the daisy with the world” and “wishes the video footage from inside the pod was never shown.”
