Shamelessthrives on chaos. After all, its entire premise shows how Frank Gallagher (William H. Macy) chases after his next drink or his next high while his six kids have to come up with all manner of schemes to survive. But the mix of the outlandish with the emotional ups and downs the Gallagher clan goes through is what makes Shameless such a great watch, but not everything about Shameless worked, and one of its actors was more than happy to point it out. Following Shameless' series finale in 2021, Cameron Monaghan — who plays middle sibling Ian Gallagher — sat down with the Nerds of Color to discuss all things Shameless. It turns out that Monaghan wasn't the biggest fan of where Season 8 took Ian.
