Over the past few years, Prime Video has quietly become one of the world's largest streaming services. While its subscriber numbers may not hold a candle to Netflix, Prime Video has developed some of the most popular original TV shows in the streaming era, including Reacher (starring Alan Ritchson), and Bosch (starring Titus Welliver). The latter arrived on the platform in 2014 and ran for seven seasons before going off the air in 2021. Prime Video brought back Welliver for a sequel series, Bosch: Legacy, only one year later, though, and the demand for more Bosch is higher than ever. The first season of another Bosch spin-off, Ballard, has already wrapped up before the second arrives soon, and Prime Video is also developing a new Bosch prequel series starring Cameron Monaghan as the titular cop.
