The latest figures highlight how user activity is clustering around a handful of fast-moving projects, with both growth stories and steep declines shaping the market.

NEAR Protocol secured second place with just over 16 million users, showing steady momentum with double-digit growth. Solana, once regarded as a rising contender, slipped to third after its active user base dropped by more than a fifth in the past week.

While some networks struggled to maintain traction, others posted dramatic gains. The standout was opBNB, which more than doubled its momentum over recent weeks to surpass 8 million users, making it the fastest climber in the rankings. Tron, Aptos, and Jito held middle-ground positions with modest changes, reflecting a steadier pace of adoption.

The downturns were most pronounced for Base and Uniswap, both of which lost nearly half their active users compared to the previous week. In contrast, Bitcoin and Ethereum remained relatively stable, each attracting between 2.6 and 2.8 million users. Polygon, Raydium, World Mobile Chain, and PancakeSwap rounded out the top performers, showing smaller shifts in engagement.

The overall picture underscores how rapidly user preferences can shift in the crypto space, with winners and losers changing week by week. BNB Chain’s continued dominance and opBNB’s breakout suggest that Binance-affiliated projects are capturing a disproportionate share of attention, while decentralized exchange platforms appear to be losing ground.
