Singer and songwriter Armaan Malik is one of the most popular singers of today's generation. He is popularly known for his works including Wajah Tum Ho, Chale Aana, Kaun Tujhe, and Sab Tera songs. Armaan explained that initially, he found the surname Malik came with a pressure, as his entire family has a deep connection to music. His grandfather, Sardar Malik, was a musician in the 1960s, his uncle, Anu Malik, and his father, Daboo Malik, are also musicians, and his brother, Amaal Malik, is also a composer. Armaan felt he needed to do something different from his family, so he chose singing as his path. Armaan said that he always wanted to create his own identity. He said, "Mujhe ye surname khatakta tha. My grandfather Sardar Malik was a composer in the 1960s, my uncle Anu Malik is a composer, my father Daboo Malik is a composer, and my brother Amaal Mallik too is a composer. Everyone in the family is a composer, so I thought, what's something that I can do differently? So, I thought of becoming a singer." Earlier, his brother Amaal Malik opened up about family pressure and talked about ending ties with members.

 

Who is Armaan Malik's favorite singers

 

During the conversation, when asked about his favorite singers, he immediately named Sonu Nigam and Mohammed Rafi. Armaan said that he grew up listening to Sonu Nigam's songs and whenever he sings on stage, he imagines how Sonu Nigam would have sung the song. He also said that he loves Mohammed Rafi's voice and tone. He said, "My favourite singer is Sonu Nigam. I grew up listening to his songs. Whenever I go on stage, I just think about how he would sing it. I am also a fan of Mohammed Rafi sir. Their tone is something I love."

What did Armaan Malik say about AI?

 

The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasing in music these days. Armaan believes that AI can never replace human emotions. He said that if asked, AI can create a sad song, but it will not have human emotions. He also stressed the need for laws to protect artists' voices. Armaan said that today, AI covers of famous singers' voices are readily available on social media, while there is no legal control over this.
