Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) is no stranger to trouble in Coronation Street, and it manages to find her again in upcoming scenes.
The teenager has a habit of falling for bad boys, and fans were convinced that she would set her sights on Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey), who had just been released from the STC.
However, she surprised us all when she reported him to the police for shoplifting instead, after he bragged to her about stealing a bottle of vodka.
Betsy was quick to call her mum, DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) instead of taking Brody up on his offer for her to join him in sharing the stolen liquor.
Brody was then hauled into the station and kept in a cell overnight to sober up, before eventually being released.

Next week, Brody is set to confront Betsy in an unnerving showdown.
When they bump into each other on the cobbles, Brody lays into her for shopping him to the police.
Little does he know, Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) has witnessed the exchange and is quick to leap to Betsy’s defence when Brody takes a step towards her.

This comes after Dylan’s own release from the STC, where he was targeted by bully Brody.
After Dylan arrives back on Coronation Street, Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) promises to protect him from Brody, but is taken aback when Dylan insists that it’s the other lad who needs to watch his back.
Later, Dylan follows Brody into the ginnel, but what will he do? And when he catches Brody squaring up to Betsy, how far will he go to protect her?
