Mob-based dramas are no stranger to inner family conflicts, especially in the case of infidelity, but MobLand definitely took it to a new level in its inaugural season. Series like The Sopranos made it a norm for men involved in the business of crime to cheat on their wives, even sometimes with the wives of other men involved in the same family business. MobLand writers said, "What if this happened within the family itself?" The series did a great job flipping the usual female archetype within series similar to it, but that doesn't mean that every female character was completely fleshed out.
