Spurs supporters were forced to cover their ears after Arsenal’s ‘North London Forever’ anthem was played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium during the undercard for Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn on Saturday night.
Cheavon Clarke, a lifelong Arsenal fan, put his British cruiserweight title on the line against Viddal Riley and walked to the ring with ‘North London Forever’ blaring around the stadium of the Gunners’ arch-rivals.
Clarke, who was wearing a white robe in Arsenal’s colours which had a gold cannon on the back, described Spurs’ stadium as a ‘toilet’ in the build up to the fight.
‘It would have been better at the Emirates, wouldn’t it?’ Clarke said.
‘I mean, this is a toilet.’
