Despite her unparalleled success on streaming,Anya Taylor-Joy’s box-office record is slightly spotty. Of course, she voiced a major character in The Super Mario Bros. Movie and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, but her two biggest live-action projects suffered at the box office. The more expensive of the two is currently streaming in the United States on HBO Max, where it has developed a strong cult following in the two years since its theatrical release.
