Anupamaa: Manish Goel received a lot of hatred because of Gaurav Khanna, says ‘He has left…’

Rupali Ganguly starrer Anupamaa went through many leaps in the last one year. We saw so many changes in the storyline. Gaurav Khanna, who played Anuj Kapadia left the show. The character has a huge fan following and people loved the jodi of Anu-Anuj. When Anuj left, everyone was shocked. This death was not completely shown and hence, fans are still hopeful that he will return. However, the producer or the actor have not shared any details about this.

In fact, producer Rajan Shahi had said that he has kept Gaurav's room as it is and Anuj might or might not return to the show. Gaurav too, has said the same thing. However, a few months ago, a new character entered the show. Anu began a new journey as a dance teacher in the central jail. She met Raghav there. Raghav was initially shown as an aggressive prisoner. Later, we saw his story unfold of how he was trapped in a false case.

Manish received hatred because of Gaurav Khanna

Manish Goel played the role of Raghav. He has been appreciated for his performance. The actor has done a great job and it is not easy to play such an intense character. However, when he entered, his bearded and rough look made people think that he is replacing Gaurav as Anuj.

There have been rumours as well that Raghav is Anuj Kapadia and Gaurav has quit the show. Now, Manish Goel spoke to Siddharth Kannan and said that he has not replaced Gaurav Khanna in Anupamaa. He had asked Rajan Shahi if he is replacing Gaurav but the producer told him that they are two different characters.

He explained that Gaurav had the beard look when he had the depression track and Raghav also entered with the same look. Hence, people were confused that Manish has replaced Gaurav. He further said that Anuj and Anupamaa's jodi has had a huge impact on the audience and he too wants his character to have the same impact.

However, Manish received a lot of hatred in the beginning because of Gaurav Khanna. This is a big story in entertainment news and TV news. He shared that he had received a message from a woman saying that she will break the TV if he comes on-screen. Manish's kids asked him not to reply or else he will get trolled. But, Manish replied and told the woman to break the TV and send him a picture.

He added that he would hug Gaurav if he meets him anything. Manish said that Gaurav has got all the love from this show and he has left a huge impact and that impact is only giving him hatred.
