Contemporary fiction author Ann Garvin is releasing her first suspense novel next month, and here is the cover and an excerpt from the upcoming novel! Tell Two Friends follows Jane Baye. In the ’90s, Jane wrote to an incarcerated person, assuming they were a woman. Thirty-six years later, the recipient of the letter moves in next door. It turns out he’s a man, and he is watching Jane’s every move. Garvin told People, “It’s my first book of suspense, and leaning into the absurdity of small-town life colliding with big-city danger was incredibly fun.” Tell Two Friends will be out on September 8.
Kit Connor might have wrapped up his work on the adaptation of Alice Oseman’s Heartstopper series, but he’s got another literary adaptation in his near future: the new X-Men movie. Connor is in talks to play Cyclops in the new Marvel film. This would be Nick Nelson’s dream come true, as Connor’s character in Heartstopper is a huge Marvel fan. Connor will star alongside Sadie Sink as Jean Grey and Samara Weaving as Emma Frost.
