After 27 seasons, American Pickers is entering a hiatus period, the first real break in 15 years, allowing the cast to explore new things and devote time to projects that they haven't had time to take care of. Co-host Danielle Colby has opened a museum dedicated to burlesque, a long-time passion of hers, while Mike Wolfe has taken on a few things, like a new History Channel show called History's Greatest Picks with Mike Wolfe. It also allows him time to restore an old 1930s motorcycle that he's been sitting on for 7 years. What's interesting is that over 15 years, Wolfe has made many, many connections that would seemingly make a project like this relatively easy. But Wolfe is turning to an unconventional source in his search for parts: his fans.
