America’s Got Talent Reveals Season 21 Winner: Who Won $1 Million?

America’s Got Talent Season 21 recently crowned its winner who took home $1 million. The finale featured a total of 10 acts, in which contestants showcased their exceptional talent and tried to impress the judges and audiences. Simon Cowell was not a part of the finale and was replaced by KSI.

Nene Royal wins America’s Got Talent Season 21 and the $1 million prize

Nene Royal became America’s Got Talent Season 21 champion. For her final act, she put her own spin on the White Stripes’ 2000s hit “Seven Nation Army.” She received high praise from the judges who complimented her voice and stage presence.

Mel B said, “Well, I’m glad I pressed my Golden Buzzer. Because not only do you have such mysterious, mystical stage presence, you’re from the best place in the world, Phuket, Thailand…and what you’re bringing to this competition is so unique and you’re only 16 years old.” She jokingly said that if Royal didn’t win the season, she might sell Howie’s house.

Sofia Vergara called Royal “unique,” while Mandel went on to praise her talent. “The biggest, most talented, most viral talent to be on that stage…you should win. Give her the million, America,” Mandel added.

The last 10 acts were Acro Canine Crew, Come Here, Geno Ploeger, Hundred Fingers, Lai Noelle, Nene Royal, Olivia Befus, Royal Lasers, Unitree and Veronika Goroshkova. Five contestants, Olivia Befus, Lai Noelle, Unitree, and Acro Canine Crew, were eliminated from the race. The top five are listed below:

5th place: Veronika Goroshkova 4th place: Royal Lasers 3rd place: Hundred Fingers 2nd place: Geno Ploeger 1st place: Nene Royal

The finale was further enhanced by the presence of several well known celebrity guests such as Linkin Park, Josh Groban, Lele Pons, Taylen Biggs, Trisha Paytas, Rei Ami, Jessica Sanchez, and others.
