Amad Diallo has urged Ruben Amorim to reconsider his stance on Manchester United outcast Alejandro Garnacho.
Amorim informed Garnacho before United’s final Premier League game of the season that he can leave the club this summer.
It was later reported that Amorim effectively kicked Garnacho out of the club in front of his teammates in a meeting at Carrington.
Garnacho has made 144 appearances for Manchester United since breaking into the first-team in 2022 and was once thought of as one of the brightest talents at the club.
But the 20-year-old has been a less influential figure this season and angered Amorim with comments he made following United’s Europa League final defeat to Tottenham.

Manchester United are open to offers for Garnacho, as they were during the January transfer window when Chelsea and Napoli expressed interest in a deal.
Fellow United winger Amad hopes Garnacho stays at Old Trafford, however, and insists the speculation over his future is ‘not an issue’ for the rest of the squad.

Given Amorim’s stance on Garnacho, it was a surprise to see the Argentina international feature in Manchester United’s post-season game against SEAN All-Stars on Wednesday.
Speaking ahead of United’s next post-season match against Hong Kong, Amad said: ‘Alejandro is a really good player and we need good players in the team.
‘I know Garna really well, so I hope to have Garna next season. It is not really a big issue for the team. Everything is good now, I think.’
Amorim, meanwhile, said it was ‘normal’ for Garnacho to be on Manchester United’s post-season tour.

‘It is not a surprise,’ the Old Trafford boss said. ‘He is a player of Manchester United, all the players are here.
‘Some players are injured and it was better for them not to fly here to play these two games. It is a normal situation.’
Ex-Manchester United midfielder Gordon Strachan has backed Amorim’s decision to axe Garnacho
‘Garnacho’s got to go,’ Strachan told Esports Insider. ‘I think he shows a lack of maturity and needs a real wake-up call.
‘Manchester United is far too good of a club to listen to him whingeing and whining all the time.
‘You wonder what the players at Manchester United are thinking about Alejandro Garnacho’s actions.
‘He should be looking after his teammates after they lost the Europa League final, not promoting himself with his comments.
‘If he doesn’t want to be a team player then I think it’s best he just goes somewhere else.
‘If the manager decides he’s not picking you, you’ve got to think of the reason, and quite often that starts by looking at yourself.
‘In life the best thing to do when something isn’t going your way or you have issues is to look at yourself and think whether it stems from you.
‘It’s rare that players take that stance anymore and look at themselves before whining about their problems.’
United travelled for their post-season tour following an embarrassing campaign in which they finished 15th in the Premier League.
