The story of Ngozi Okoye (Adesuwa Oni) may end in tragedy this week in Casualty, as the beloved nurse is rushed into the ED after relapsing.
Ngozi has been working hard over the course of this boxset to control her addiction to alcohol. She’s been supported by friend and mentor Dylan Keogh (William Beck), determined to get back on track for the sake of her young son and her career.
Last week, Ngozi said goodbye to Holby ED. In tonight’s episode, we join her at the airport ahead of her and Obi’s return to Lagos.
Sadly though, it becomes apparent that Ngozi doesn’t want to go home. The stress and overwhelming emotions causes her to drink right before the flight. She then decreases the chance of getting on the plane even further by hiding in the toilets.
It’s during this moment that disaster strikes for Ngozi as she returns to Holby – but not in the way she had hoped.
Elsewhere, Dylan is busy trying to connect with Flynn Byron (Olly Rix). He knows that he’s struggling, but Flynn is reluctant to talk to him. Is Dylan prepared to let Flynn continue to disrespect his colleagues by turning up late, or will he try and sort the situation out?
Also, Iain Dean (Michael Stevenson) reaches a very important conclusion about his mindset and how it is impacting his relationship with Faith Cadogan (Kirsty Mitchell). He decides to have a conversation with her about it, and let’s just say it does more harm than good.
It’s the final episode of Supply and Demand – here’s everything you need to know.
Ngozi’s life is on the line

Nicole Piper (Sammy T Dobson) decides she wants a future with Ngozi after all but the problem? She has to get to the airport before Ngozi’s flight back to Lagos. Time is against Nicole, so Siobhan McKenzie (Melanie Hill) steps in and they race to find her.
Nicole rushes in, only to learn that Ngozi has relapsed. A devastating incident occurs that puts Ngozi’s life on the line. She is rushed into the ED – but will the team save her?
Iain connects the dots

Reeling from the death of his mum, Iain is determined to succeed and prove himself on his most frightening HART mission yet – he has to take part in a violent raid at the drug lord’s home.
When he endangers the life of his team-member, Iain accepts that his inherent need to fix and save is unhealthy. Meanwhile, at the ED, Faith learns from Stevie (Elinor Lawless) that Iain’s mum died three days ago.
While Iain is celebrated by the team for his quick-thinking, he struggles to take the praise. This leads him to connecting some emotional dots and later, he admits to Faith that he believes he’s only with her to fix her.
Flynn makes an admission

Flynn comes in late and Dylan isn’t impressed. Feeling challenged by his colleague, Flynn grows determined to prove that he is a good doctor, but this performance just takes a toll on him. After fooling around with the mother of a patient, Flynn feels terrible when he’s caught by Jodie (Anna Chell). He then makes a medical mistake, adding to his negative feelings.
Flynn admits to Dylan that he does have a problem and tells him that he hates living in the house without Claire and his children.
Dylan tells Flynn that habits can be broken, believing that Ngozi is an example of this. Flynn makes a call to Claire but daughter Millie answers instead, and Flynn is thrilled when she invites him to her dance class.
A while later, Flynn thanks Dylan for the help, telling him it’s nice to have a friend in the department.
Rash gets good news – at last
Rash (Neet Mohan) keeps himself busy at work and helps deliver a baby. Later, Rida (Sarah Seggari) and Rash learn that the leader of the drugs gang has been caught, all because Rash convinced Sunny (Jamie Marie Leary) to speak to the police.
To really make his day better, Rash is then offered the chance to go on a Peads rotation.
It means he is one step closer to his CESR, and Rash couldn’t be more thrilled.
