The Predator movie franchise has been going strong for over three decades, with plenty of highs and lows. Very few of the eight Predator movies have been like the others, and most entries tend to ignore much of what's happened before. Prey and Predator: Killer of Killers takes things further, taking place centuries before the earlier films. The Predator franchise kicked off in 1987 with the titular Predator, which starred then-rising megastar Arnold Schwarzenegger alongside some of the best visual SFX and prosthetics available in filmmaking at the time. The great execution helped secure Predator's future as a major IP.
