Since the start of the 21st century, Christopher Nolan has been a pretty much inescapable name, as he’s consistently put out a series of good movies with very little by way of genuine misfires for, what, nearly 30 years now? The Odyssey is not out, at the time of writing, but it looks promising. Even if it won’t be a perfect adventure/fantasy blockbuster, it’ll hopefully deliver by way of spectacle, and it’ll be neat to see Nolan make something in a genre he hasn’t really tackled yet.
