Following his loss earlier this year, Alex Pereira is slated to face Magomed Ankalaev in a much-anticipated rematch at UFC 320 on October 4, 2025, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, before the fight goes on the road, ‘Potan’ appears to have taken a time out from his training for the fight for some well-deserved distractions.

The 38-year-old shared an inside look at his training on YouTube earlier today. However, once he was done with training, he joined Nina Marie Daniele, aka Nina Drama, heading to the Universal Horror Unleashed (AREA15) in Las Vegas. While there, ‘Potan’ appears to have come face to face with some ghosts.

Happy Punch later shared a clip from Pereira’s video, with the caption reading, “Alex Pereira was definitely the scariest thing in that haunted house today.” Meanwhile, the former UFC light heavyweight champion can be seen confronting workers, acting as ghosts and demons in the haunted house, as he laughed like a demon himself and screamed “chama” to scare them.

At one point, in the clip, Alex Pereira faced off against a ghost as they stared down, mimicking one of Pereira’s face-offs before his fights in the UFC. This video quickly went viral on Instagram, catching viewer attention, attracting hordes of comments. While Pereira may or may not have failed to scare the workers, fans were left amused.

Fans reflect on Pereira’s antics

Immediately, one user pointed out that Pereira had a stare-down with the ghost. “Bro had a staredown with a ghoul 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥,” the user commented. He might be practicing his mean face.

Another user claimed Pereira may have scared one worker. “Leatherface wanted no parts lol,” the user commented. Well, not a lot of people may encounter people screaming “chama” at the top of their lungs.

The next user felt bad for the ghosts. “Tough day on the job 💀,” the user remarked. It could have been worse if ‘Potan’ had started fighting them.

Meanwhile, Pereira’s antics seem to have reminded this user of children. “He’s like a little kid on Christmas,” the user commented. However, kids might not be as brave in a haunted house.

Someone else confessed a truth. “His first ‘Chama’ shout killed me😂,” the user wrote. The ghosts may have been scared for their lives.

From the looks of things, the stress of training for the rematch hasn’t affected Alex Pereira much. While he might have scared the ghosts in the haunted house, can he do the same to Ankalaev next month?
