Warfare has now hit a major box office milestone. Alex Garland co-wrote and co-directed the movie with Civil War's military advisor Ray Mendoza based on Mendoza's experience during the Iraq War following the Battle of Ramadi. The ensemble cast features many rising stars, including D'Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Will Poulter, Cosmo Jarvis, Kit Connor, Finn Bennett, Joseph Quinn, Charles Melton, Noah Centineo, and Michael Gandolfini. The Warfare release kicked off on April 11, debuting at No. 4 with an $8.3 million opening weekend.
