An Air India plane carrying 232 passengers crashed after it took off from Ahmedabad's Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport on June 12. The London-bound flight, AI171, was seen getting engulfed in smoke which further left many shocked. While the rescue operation is underway, several Bollywood stars have joined commoners in mourning the tragic incident and offering condolences to the victims and their families

Bollywood actors Riteish Deshmukh, Akshay Kumar, Sunny Deol, and many more expressed their profound sadness to the incident. Sunny Deol took to his X account (formerly Twitter) and said, "Devastated by the news of the plane crash in Ahmedabad. Praying with all my heart for survivors may they be found and receive the care they need. May those who lost their lives rest in peace, and may their families find strength in this unimaginable time."

Riteish Deshmukh too admitted to being heartbroken and in shock after he heard about the tragic plane crash. "My heart goes out to all the passengers, their families, and everyone affected on the ground. Holding them all in my thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time."
