India experiences the most heart-wrenching day after witnessing the horrifying plane crash on June 12, 2025. The ill-fated flight had the destination of London's Gatwick Airport, and it fell in the worst aviation crash right after takeoff, claiming over 240 lives, including the passengers and people present on the site of the incident. The incident drew attention to the Air India Boeing 767-8 Dreamliner. From common people to celebrities, everyone has expressed their condolences for the fatal crash. Among which, Vikrant Massey's Instagram story reveals the heart-wrenching news about the family related to the incident.
Vikrant Massey took to Instagram to share a heartfelt note, paying condolences to the families of the victims of the Ahmedabad plane crash. Further in the note, Vikrant reveals that his family friend and uncle, Clifford Kunder, was also affected by the incident, as his son Clive Kunder, who was serving as the first officer on the flight, lost his life in the tragedy.
Vikrant's note reads, "My heart breaks for the families & loved ones of the ones who lost their lives in the unimaginably tragic air crash in Ahmedabad today. It pains even more to know that my uncle, Clifford Kunder, lost his son, Clive Kunder May God give strength to you and your family, uncle, and all deeply affected."
For those who don't know, the Air India flight Boeing 787-8 that encountered a horrifying incident right after its takeoff had two experienced pilots. Sumeet Sabharwal was the captain onboard who had the experience of 8,200 hours of flying, whereas the first officer, Clive Kunder, had 1,100 hours of flying experience. Apart from them, the flight consisted of 10 other cabin crew members onboard.
The ill-fated flight consisted of 169 Indian and 53 British passengers. The massive crash killed everyone on the flight except one survivor named Ramesh Vishvaskumar, who was seated near the emergency exit at 11A and was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
