Netflix's adaptation of Agatha Christie's Seven Dials takes a passably entertaining murder mystery and tries to raise its emotional stakes with mixed results. Few would say that Christie's original novel, The Seven Dials Mystery, is one of her strongest outings; the best part of the source material is undoubtedly the dynamic between the pluckily adventurous Lady Eileen, more affectionately known as "Bundle," and the steadfast Superintendent Battle.
