After hearing Anthony Mackie's comments about the X-Men in the build up to the release of Avengers: Doomsday, I need one Marvel movie moment audiences have dreamed of for what feels like millennia to finally become reality even more. The upcoming story of Avengers: Doomsday has been the subject of understandable and increasing audience fascination ever since it was first announced. Indeed, with the fifth Avengers movie going from being Avengers: The Kang Dynasty to this new Doctor Doom-led title, it was hard to not be immediately interested in the unexpected path the MCU timeline was taking itself in.
