AFK Journey teams up with Digimon to introduce fan-favourite characters as playable heroes

It would seem that the folks at Digimon have really clued themselves into the continuous popularity of mobile, if their latest announcement is any indication. Yes, as you might have seen from the headline, Digimon will arrive in the world of AFK Journey starting August 18th and running all the way until September 14th! The collaboration sees fan-favourite characters Taichi and Yamato end up in the world of AFK Journey. Aided by both their partner Digimon and the Magister, they'll need to deal with the villainous Hypofiends standing in the way of their return home.
