It certainly feels like the '80s get more attention, and that's understandable, but the '90s were also a pretty great time for movies. The decade marked the arrival of some true cinematic classics like The Shawshank Redemption, The Truman Show, Boyz n the Hood, and Titanic. It also saw the start of legendary franchises like Jurassic Park, Scream, and The Matrix. Outside of those projects, the '90s was also a fantastic time for films aimed at children.
