For the better part of three years, we have waited with bated breath for Netflix to make the official announcement for season five of the hit seriesStranger Things. Time passed, and the TV landscape has changed dramatically since the end of Season 4. Finally, after years of waiting, we finally got the answer during Netflix’s TUDUM event. Stranger Things 5 will be broken up into three “volumes,” with the first to be released on November 26, just as everyone will be getting together for a day of eating, football, and family fights. This isn’t coincidental, either. Netflix decided to release the final season of Stranger Things literally on the holidays. Yep, volume II will be released on Christmas Day, and the final volume on New Year’s Eve. We have yet to conclude if this is a genius move by Netflix, or one they will live to regret.
