Netflix will soon officially remove four popular action thriller movies starring Academy Award nominee Sylvester Stallone from its library. These movies have a combined gross of over $855 million at the global box office.

When will the Sylvester Stallone movies leave Netflix?

Stallone’s The Expendables franchise from Lionsgate, including 2010’s The Expendables, 2012’s The Expendables 2, 2014’s The Expendables 3, and 2023’s Expend4bles, has less than four days left before it leaves Netflix’s library this Saturday, June 20. These blockbuster action movies were led by Stallone, Jason Statham, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li, Randy Couture, and Terry Crews. They were joined by numerous stars like Bruce Willis, Mel Gibson, Antonio Banderas, Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Wesley Snipes, Glen Powell, Steve Austin, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson III, Iko Uwais, and more.

The Expendables franchise was directed by four different filmmakers, including Stallone, Simon West, Patrick Hughes, and Scott Waugh. In addition, Stallone also co-wrote the screenplay for the first three installments. Out of all The Expendables movies, the 2012 sequel remains its highest-rated installment with an 68% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Meanwhile, the 2023 sequel serves as the one with the highest Popcornmeter score of 69%.

“A new generation of stars joins the world’s top action stars for an adrenaline-fueled adventure in Expend4bles,” reads the fourth installment’s synopsis. “Armed with every weapon they can get their hands on and the skills to use them, The Expendables are the world’s last line of defense and the team that gets called when all other options are off the table. But new team members with new styles and tactics are going to give ‘new blood’ a whole new meaning.”
