Early reactions to The Drama have begun to surface following its premiere in Los Angeles on March 17, 2026, with viewers sharing largely positive responses on social media. The film, led by Robert Pattinson and Zendaya, has drawn attention for its performances and tone ahead of its wider release.

Several early viewers highlighted the on-screen dynamic between the two leads. Nora Dominick wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “got to see THE DRAMA, and no surprise, there is clearly a reason they are doing multiple projects together because Zendaya and Robert Pattinson are so great together. they’ve got chemistry in this romance movie that uses some dark (cringe-inducing) humor to its advantage.”

Written and directed by Borgli, The Drama is scheduled to be released on April 3, 2026. The film also features Mamoudou Athie, Alana Haim, and Hailey Gates in supporting roles.
