18 Photos Where ‘Random’ is the Most Apt Description

Some photos have a perfectly reasonable explanation, but that does not make them any less bizarre to look at. A stranger appears in the background, an animal seems to be participating in human business, two unrelated events collide in exactly the wrong place, or an ordinary scene contains one detail that completely changes the picture. There is no elaborate story required. Sometimes the best possible explanation is simply that someone happened to have a camera ready at exactly the right second. The internet is particularly good at preserving these wonderfully pointless moments, where nothing seems connected and yet everything somehow ended up in the same frame.
